Meet the Teachers

Meet Alban and Virginia—experienced, certified yoga teachers who will guide you through a life-changing Yoga Teacher Training in the heart of Albania.

Alban Muçaj

I’ve spent half my life in Greece, but in 2022, I returned to Albania with a heartfelt mission—to share the healing power of yoga and meditation with my community. I'm a naturally curious person, full of passion, deeply connected to nature, and inspired by movement and meaning.

Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in a wide range of activities, from sports and the arts to spirituality. For the past 13 years, I’ve been practicing yoga and various forms of spiritual and energy healing techniques—each one shaping the way I live, breathe, and move. I have Raja Yoga and Hatha Yoga advanced 300 hour training Certificates of Completion.

To me, yoga is a multidimensional science—a practice that elevates every aspect of life, not just the physical body. Yoga isn’t something I leave on the mat; it’s a way of being that I carry with me everywhere, at any time. That’s what makes it so unique, powerful, and irreplaceable.

In my free time, I love to swim, dance, and meditate by the sea. I also dedicate time to meaningful causes, like volunteering to plant trees, caring for stray animals, and helping people heal through both connection and mindful practice.

Whether you're just starting or deepening your path, I believe that yoga can transform your life. And there's no better place to experience it than here in Albania, one of Europe’s most beautiful, untouched destinations for yoga teacher training and retreats.

Virginia Carrión

Born in Barcelona and shaped by a life across multiple continents, I bring a global perspective to my teaching.

Currently based in Australia, I teach yoga with heart and purpose, blending over 20 years of pedagogical experience with nearly a decade of guiding yoga classes and assisting in Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programs. I’m deeply passionate about alignment and view yoga not just as a practice, but as a way of life. I live and breathe yoga, integrating the Eight Limbs of Yoga into my daily routine.

My core styles are Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, which I teach with a focus on mindfulness, flow, and connection. I have completed 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training in power Vinyasa and Yin, as well as having completed a 200 hour Trauma Informed Yoga course.

Outside the studio, you'll often find me volunteering, cooking plant-based meals, dancing, swimming, or immersed in nature—all of which inspire and nourish my teaching.
